Brooklyn has so much history, stories and endless places to discover. I have been so hungry to walk the
streets of Brooklyn and discover it step by step. I must say the movie Brooklyn brought me back to my desire to do this and my heritage. Being born in Ireland, the story was so about my Mom and her travels from Ireland to New York. I have been craving to explore Brooklyn, capture and feel what it was like back in the 60’s and embrace how it has evolved into this desirable place to live by our next generation. It was so hard to decide on where to begin.

So, following my love for food, I thought it should be a restaurant and then I would start walking. My first adventure started at French Louie. All I can say is AMAZING! After doing a Soul CycleSoulCycle class with my favorite instructor, Joey! I was hungry…..and my sweet waitress quickly suggested the SOCCA which I had with two poached eggs….AMAZING …Chickpea flat bread, roasted cauliflower, freekah & eggs.
