Another brilliant endeavor from Momofuku founder David Chang. Momofuku Nishi, Nishi which means west, located on the west side in the Chelsea district. A few new things to keep in mind about his new restaurant are they take reservations and there is a no tip policy.
Some of the most wonderful dishes I experienced were the Bagna Cauda, a take on a caesar salad, chilled and refreshing. Ceci e Pepe, pasta served with fermented chickpea hozon. Amazing and salty. The other was the Clams Grand Lisbon! Made with an oregano-powered sauce and various levels of crunch from toasted videos-style noodles. Favorite for sure! Oh, and I had to tast the grilled sweet potato which was served whole like a classic baked potato…..delicious! And yes, finished the evening with the pistachio cake and I only wish I had a slice for tea time tomorrow!

Missing a good organic Restaurant. Momofuko Nishi is on my list when I return from Hawaii.
