Paris is a city to be explored by arrondissements and so is New York.
New York neighborhoods are a mirror image of Paris arrondissements.
I decided my new way of exploring New York would be to go deep into what each neighborhood has to offer in culture, food, fashion and architecture. My first adventure was Chinatown, bordering on the Lower East Side with Little Italy to its North. It is the home to the largest community of Chinese people in the United States. 🇺🇸 What warmed my heart walking around late on a Tuesday evening was the authenticity of the neighborhood.
My first stop was LALO. Chef Gerardo Gonzalez opened in the former Winnie’s space expanding his expertise in Cal-Mex cuisine. I need to return and explore the menu more. Loved the service and ambiance. Still want to figure out my favorite dish is…
