In 1988, I discovered Simone de Beauvoir, and fell in love with her and what was happening in the literary world in Paris. And, why I love Café de Flore so much! I recently saw this quote pop up on one of my social media sites which inspired me to dig into some of her most memorable books. There are wonderful stories written about Simone, her relationships go-to places in Paris. She was an amazing, strong women who believed in the strength of women in our world. Simone goes down in history as one of the most memorable artists of the 50’s which includes Hemingway, Miller, Picasso, Sartre and so many more. I so admire her intellect, elegance, and passion. She was a feminist, writer, political activist and a lover of writing.

We need more strong and intellectual women like Simone in our world today.
Such a creative spirit.
What better person can you write a celebratory blog about than Simone De Beauvoir!?! That icon of feminism. That Mother of Feminism. That author of the bible of feminism The Second Sex. That pedophile, that rapist, that child molester, that racist, that Nazi collaborator, that chronic liar, that woman beater, that misogynist, that adulteress, that exploitative perverted lowlife, that drug addict, that alcoholic, that incestophile, that KGB stooge etc. Truly, you cannot find a better idol to celebrate in a blog than Simone De Beauvoir.
No, not really. Simone De Beauvoir speaks volumes for feminism and its proponents. This celebratory blog of this despicable character speaks volumes for the ignorance of its author.
