Marie-Aude Rose, wife of Daniel Rose, has decided to bring her culinary talents to New York. She holds two diplomas from local Ferrandi and has had the privilege to work at a few Michelin starred restaurants. Marie met her husband at his restaurant Spring in Paris (which I have been to multiple times) and have been enjoying cooking together ever since. In 2016, they moved to New York where Daniel opened Le Coucou. I find it so inspiring to see a loving couple open separate restaurants that inspire and constantly invigorate there culinary passion.
La Mercerie is located in the beautiful retail space of Roman & Guild. It is the first retail counterpart to Roman & Williams design firm. Guild is all about quality, unique, and a little French inspired. The floral arrangements by Emily Thompson are exquisite.
