Summertime and the NYC ferry…life is perfect! For $2.75, you can embrace the city skyline from Brooklyn to New York down to the tip of Manhattan. I am so excited to post all my wonderful experiences from food to shopping to art….so much!
Last night I took the Ferry to Greenpoint to have dinner with my son who just moved there. Greenpoint is the home to a large Polish-American community with a hipster appeal. Today, you can still experience the traditional Polish heritage from the shops to restaurants to street fairs. Many of the streets have been designated Historical so the townhouses will remain and the core of the neighborhood will always be there.
Look for my future posts of the first few dining experiences that left me dreaming to return: Dinner at Oxomoca, Lunch at Le Gamin and Chez Ma Tante.
