The Hoxton Hotel first opened in London and has now expanded to Amsterdam, Paris, Portland, Los Angeles and Williamsburg.
My first Hoxton Hotel expérience was recently in Paris. The interior, service, and amenities were superb. Upon entering the lobby there is a takeaway café bar, open lounge area that leads into a beautiful courtyard with heaters everywhere. However, we were not in need of a heater since it was in the mid-sixties which is quite warm for a mid-October day.
Currently on exhibit at the Paris hotel is work by photographer Arnaud Montagard. His work has been featured in National Geographic, Vogue, and Architectural Digest just to name a few of the many publications his worked has been shown. Arnaud is currently living in Brooklyn and was exhibited in the International Center of Photography.
The Hoxton hotels are inspired by the diversity of a neighborhood and the elements of diversity that it brings. They do an exquisite job of creating intimate as well as social lounge environments to relax and entertain.
This will be my choice of hotels when I visit my son in Los Angeles soon!
