July – Intuition – listen, feel and be strong even if it means saying No.

Welcome Summer in the City and I must say it has been a beautiful summer so far. I am trying to keep positive, find the beauty the city has to offer in the summer even though I desperately miss the beach. The goals I set for July resonate so much to how I feel and the decisions I have had to face. When I set this goal I did not realize the challenges I would be facing, saying No and being strong is in a very different category I was thinking about. I am still recovering from carcinoma in situ surgery on my leg which has been an ongoing nightmare. Now two months after surgery I am dealing with an ulcerated wound, banned from the beach and sun.

Everyday when I wake up and plant my feet on the floor, I do smile, roll out my yoga matt, breath and embrace the day I have in front of me.
