I have been saving up a list of movies and series to watch which I would like to share with you. After binge watching Emily in Paris, Tiny Pretty Things, Briderton, High Fidelity and so many others, here is what is on my need to watch list.

Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom – featuring Viola Davis, Denzel Washington and more takes place in 1927 in Chicago. The story is about August Wilson’s play. Even though the reviews have been mixed, I am going to watch it!

Let Them Talk – featuring Meryl Streep, Candice Bergen and Diane West. Sweet movie that takes place on a cruise and left me wanting more!

Palm Springs – every once in awhile I am ready for a light, warm, fuzzy and entertaining movie. I think this may be it!

Promising Young Woman – staring Carey Mulligan
The movie just released is perfect timing for the #metoo movement.

Sylvie’s Love – The movie embraces old fashioned romance & Black love in Harlem in the 50’s

Soul – A Pixar movie. Every once in awhile I am attracted to an animated movie and Pixar does not disappoint. Seeing Jamie Fox and Tina Fey featured in this intrigues my interest. It is about music, jazz, and discovering passions which all resonates with me.
