Movies from the past that I love

REVISITING SOME OF MY FAVORITE MOVIES
AND
LISTENING TO THEIR SOUNDTRACKS

Movies and music bring back memories and always wonderful ones. So, I have decided to take a break from the trending new Series or latest movies and travel back in time to memory lane of movies that are still resonate with me today.
Here are a few of my all time favorites that also have some of the most amazing sound tracks. It is funny, rewatching them today they still take me back to the first time I ever watched them in a movie theater, popcorn and just chillin. Oh, how I am so waiting for the days of going to the movies, a matinée and seeing my favorite actors on the big screen. I so recommend on a long drive downloading some of the soundtracks…it will make you smile and maybe some will get you dancing! (Not while you are driving…)
What are some of your favorites?  There are so many!  And I will share more!

Celebrating the Fearless Style of 1983 Classic Flashdance

OMG, this takes me back to my summers in Newport, Rhode Island. I saw this
movie with my sisters and we danced down to the harbor after the movie. And
just think leg warmers are back in fashion!  The soundtrack will get you dancing.

1981 Academy Award Winning Movie…I had not started running until 20 years
later, however, this movie so inspired me. It is based on a true and amazing
story. Also, love the soundtrack!

Seriously fell in love with this amazing cast! Filmed released in 1997 and
rewatching it, I feel like it was yesterday. Matt Damon was only 27 years old in
this movie. Robin Williams….RIP 🙏.
Another fantastic soundtrack as well!

This movie released in 1991 was so ahead of its time and so right on. I love
Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis! Two strong women, actresses and filled with
attitude. Soundtrack is amazing!

Beautiful movie…soundtrack is perfect for a cozy Sunday by the fire.

Sweet movie released in 1991 that takes place in London. About a Pakistani
teenager who relates to Bruce Springsteen and how his music resonates to his
working class environment. (And I love Bruce Springsteen)

I have watched this movie over a dozen times! The soundtrack is one of my
favorites when I need a little energy for a long drive, roll down the windows and sing…only Oskar is listening. 😆

Love everything about Juliette Binoche! Amazing beauty, style and talent.
Movie is fabulous! Do not watch until Easter if you gave up chocolate for Lent.
Soundtrack is so captivating!

Waking Ned Divine is a feel good movie with Irish humor throughout. Maybe,
watch on St. Patrick’s Day. The movie is based on a true story and covers the
scenic beauty of Ireland from rural villages to the Isle of Man. If you have any
desire to visit Ireland this will fulfill your desire….book a ticket and I will join you.
Play this soundtrack on St. Patrick’s Day ☘

Well I am going to end on a French movie…Amelie! Filmed in 2001 and covers
over 80 Parisian locations. Totally captures the beautiful charm of Paris today.
The soundtrack is perfect for evening cocktails, chilling with a book, or just
sitting by the fire. Maybe a little dance with your love 💗
