I had the wonderful pleasure of enjoying an extraordinary culinary experience Friday night celebrating my birthday at Blue Hill at Stone Barns. In the spring of 2004, Blue Hill opened and is run by executive chef, Dan Barber, who also owns Blue Hill in New York. Stone Barns property was originally part of the Rockefeller estate. After falling into disuse during the 1950’s, Peggy Dulany, David Rockefeller’s daughter, and associate James Ford created what is today Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculture. The property is absolutely pristine and I look forward to returning during the day for an amazing hike.
