Strolling around the West Village on a warm February day brought me enjoyment and a little taste/tease of Spring that I know is not yet ready to arrive. Cafes have their tables outside, doors are open and parks are packed with New Yorkers soaking up the pleasant weather in t-shirts and skirts.
The West Village and thru the West Side of SoHo are some of my favorite places in NY to take an afternoon stroll. Always a new shop, cafe, restaurant or pop up to explore.
A new favorite of mine, Little Prince is quaint & romantic. The French-inspired bistro opens up to a small, quiet section of Prince Street and has the 3 musts: wonderful service, fantastic wine selection and a gorgeous menu. The decor is so French – from the wood-framed bar and bistro stools to the hand-painted ceramic floor. According to my lunch date the burgers are amazing, and I will vouch for the Salade Niçoise which I thoroughly enjoyed at the cafe and the next day for lunch!
After lunch, go directly across the street to an exquisite floral shop, Prince Flower Shop.
