Seeing Spring fashion popping up in Paris was teasing me in January with a little hint of what I must have in my wardrobe. I walked the streets in January in my soft blue coat and then again hiking Montana in my dusty blue vest. For sure feeling the blues in a very inspirational way!
Robert Clergerie on Rue du Cherche-Midi (one of my favorite streets) discreetly displayed a few pairs of what they had in store for Spring: denim and powder blue shoes. What I really loved was the return of the quintessential Clergerie leather and Raffia sandals and shoes.
Isabel Marant has the most sophisticated yet sexy one piece in shades of grey and blue.
J. Crew mixes fabric, pattern and a beautiful balance of shades of blue.
James Perse never disappoints with the perfect selection of blues hues in knits.
The trend for shades of blue is now trending in my home with Abyss towels and a hint of it on my walls. Thanks to Farrow and Ball.

Shades of blue remind me of lounging by the sea.
