I have discovered this simple potato chip recipe that complements any appetizer or main course. You can be endlessly creative with how you serve these amazing chips.
Simple and easy…
Clean and slice potatoes with a mandoline slicer. I purchased mine back in 1988 at a secondhand kitchen store, so you don’t need to get a fancy one. I recommend the Molia Swissmar Mandoline. Not sure where to find it today, just keep your purchase simple!
Recipe (Method)
Oven should be about 400°.
Toss sliced potatoes in a little olive oil and bake on a cookie sheet.
I like to chop and toss some herbs with them prior to baking… rosemary, oregano or sage are fantastic.
After a few minutes in oven turn to other side.
Depending on your oven, it takes approximately 10 minutes.
When golden, crisp, and looking yummy, remove and toss in a bowl with salt and pepper.
Serve hot or room temp.
