After a morning of hanging shelves, we walked around to find a late afternoon spot for lunch and stumbled upon Le Gamin. We dined on oysters, mussels, foie gras, steak, pomme frites, rosé and beer. French owned, wonderful service and such a quaint setting who opened their first restaurant in SoHo on Macdougal Street in 1992 before moving to Brooklyn. Their Soho restaurant “Les Deux Gamins” was where The Brothers McMullen was filmed in 1995. Great movie and it is on my must list to watch again when the snowstorms hit NYC!
