A beautiful sunset ferry ride to Greenpoint took me to Oxomoca which is approximately 5 blocks from the water.
Everyday I discover some many of the wonderful culinary delights New York has to offer. Oxomoca is the perfect spot for small plate dining. A wonderful rosé and well curated watermelon margarita hit the spot on a sunny summer evening. Sitting at the bar with my dear son we decided the best way to experience our evening was to do shared plates. Started off with the Oxomoco Guacamole which did not disappoint followed by Shrimp Ceviche Tostada. We could not leave without experiencing the tacos! I ordered the AlbacoreTuna Achiote with black beans, pickled onion and habanero salsa and Ryan devoured the Beet “Chorizo” taco with crispy potato, avocado and salsa alas brazas.
Thank goodness for Soul Cycle, Ride, running and pilates as it allows me to indulge!
