A few weekly staples in my refrigerator are stock, salad dressing and rice.
I love a nutty rice with a little aromatic flavor. My go-to is steaming it with Kaffir/Makrut lime leaves in the Donabe. (You can use a regular stock pot.)
At the moment my favorite rice is Massa Organics Brown Rice. The texture is nutty, sweet and high in fiber unlike white rice. I do love jasmine rice for certain dishes but this particular brown rice is my staple as it is not your normal brown rice. For lunch today I steamed the rice and spooned a little of my leftover tofu miso soup over it. During the week I warm the rice mixed with sautéed vegetables, warm with olive oil, herbs and serve as a side dish.
