DAY 1
Our next honeymoon adventure takes us to Paris for 2 weeks. The months of September to mid-October typically brings magnificent weather. The first evening after settling into our beautiful Marais Pad à Terre, we walked down to my favorite neighborhood restaurant. Le Mary Celeste Tiny spot with amazing waiters, music, oysters and small plates.

DAY 2
It was Sunday and we wanted to hit the amazing Clingencourt Flea Market. First, we went to Poilane Bakery for croissants then the Marché to stock up on basics for the apartment. A little cafe at Saucerre in our neighborhood then track to the Flea Market. The market is truly overwhelming and filled with gems. I always find it easier to have a list of what I am looking for before arriving. Usually, I stray from the list and find items I was not even looking for. This trip, our focus was something special for the new home that we could carry on the plane. I have a favorite French collector of beautiful original fruit sketches, architectural etchings and more beautiful pieces dating back to as early as the XX century. Delavillette, Marche Vernaison – Allée 8. I purchased 5 beautiful French architectural drawings a few years ago. Today, we were looking for plants, herbs or vegetables for our kitchen. We lucked out and found two pieces perfect for the kitchen in our new home.

After our wonderful purchase of the herb sketches we strolled around Rue des Roisiers markets. Thanks to our dear Parisian friends, they highly advised we book reservations at Bonne Aventure ahead of time at. It was beyond amazing! Small, quaint and wonderful food! I am usually not one for dessert, but when in Paris🗼
We stopped at a quintessential jazz cafe to listen to amazing old French jazz. It is considered the temple of Jazz. Fantastique!
